A Sudden Twist 11 & 12

Insert 11

Nqubeko
The following day i woke up from the guest house that i booked in. Nqoba
and Xoli disappeared yesterday. Turns out they were banging each other
all day. So i got off the bed and took a quick shower after the shower i
dressed in cream chino shorts and a light orange H&B round neck t-shirt
and black sneakers. I wore my black cap and took my things. I went and
checked out. I headed to the hospital after going past the mall to get
Nokwazi some clothes.
I got to the hospital and went straight to her ward. I found her in bed with
her bags packed. She was wearing a gown and looked like she was
ready to leave. I walked over to her and kissed her.
Me: “ Morning” she smiled.
Kwazi: “ Morning. I am waiting for mom with my clothes” i gave her the
plastic and then took my son. She frowned.
Me: “ Your mom told me you need clothes so i bought you clothes” she
took the packet and got off the bed. She walked to the bathroom and left
me with my son. I looked at him; he was sleeping. He had to be the most
beautiful baby ever. He had curly hair and it was longer than it should be.
He smelled nice and baby. The door creaked open and her mom walked
in.
K’s Mom: “ Morning Nomndayi” i chuckled.
Me: “ Morning Mah. How are you?” she nodded.
K’s mom: “ Where is she?” she was referring to Kwazi.
Me: “ She went to get dressed.” She nodded again.
K’s mon: “ Nqubeko i meant what i said last night about the damages.” I
nodded.
Me: “ I understand mah. It’s not even enough; after the way i hurt
Nokwazi it’s the least i could do”
K’s mom: “ I wanted to talk to you about something: You know i live in a 2
bedroom house and it is not that fancy. Siphe cannot live in that flat in
town so i think that Nokwazi and Siphe should move in with you for time
being. If that won’t be an issue for you”
Me: “ Of course not mama. I would love it if they moved in with me. I
already have Siphe’s room ready. I had someone buy his things and sent
them to my house. I called this morning and she said the room is ready”
K’s mom: “ Let’s hope Kwazi will agree. She needs to be in an
environment where she can move around freely and your house is
ridiculously huge”
Me: “ It’s not child friendly mah. I don’t want to force Kwazi into being in a
relationship with me. Lord knows she suffered and she was all alone
these last 8 months so they will move in with me for time being. I will look
for a house for them and if she wants to leave she can.”
K’s mom: “ You really love her don’t you?” i chuckled.
Me: “ More than words” she giggled.
K’s mom: “ Well you have to work hard to get her back”
Me: “ I will work very hard to do so”
The bathroom door opened and Nokwazi stepped out. Damn. She was
so beautiful. I got her a body hugging knee length grey dress and
sneakers. She wears a size 4. Cute. She smiled when she saw her mom.
How i wish she could smile at me like that.
Kwazi: “ Hey mom” she walked slowly to her and they baby kissed.
Me: “ I have already signed the papers when i came here. Let us go” i
had Siphe in my arms. I covered him in his blanket and we walked out.
Sanele was outside waiting for us. As soon as he saw us he walked to us
and took the bags from his sister and mom.
We walked towards the car and i opened it. I placed the seat in the
middle and strapped him in. Kwazi and Sanele got in at the back. Miss
Kheswa got in front. I drove out of the hospital and headed to Durban.
Nokwazi: “ I thought we were going to start at the guesthouse i was
staying at”
Me: “ Simo took your bags back to Durban” she nodded and i continued
driving.
My phone rang and it was connected to the car speaker. It was Nqoba
calling. I answered.
Me: “ Nomndayi” he clicked his tongue.
Nqoba: “ Nomndayi my ass. We are at the hospital and you big head isn’t
here. They said you took your family. Where are you?” i chuckled.
Me: “ I am driving to Durban. Freeway right now”
Nqoba: “ You’re a pussy. Why didn’t you...” i cut him off because i knew
that he was about to start cussing one way
Me: “ Dude there are people in the car. They can hear you”
K’s Mom: “ Hello Nqoba” he chuckled nervously.
Nqoba: “ Hey Miss K. I will get you for this Nqubeko. Later!” he hung up
and i chuckled shaking my head. We drove past a garage and i asked if
they needed anything and they said no. Only Sanele was hungry. We got
our the car and went to buy him food. He bought 2 King steer meals
saying one is for the road. He ate and took the other one with him.
We finally arrived in Durban and i drove straight to Umlazi. I got to
Nokwazi’s house and she got off with her mom. They unloaded the
groceries that we bought along the way. I thought she was also staying
but noo. We took Siphe in and we stayed for a few hours. When it started
getting dark we also bid them farewell. I had a talk with her mother before
leaving.
K’s mom: “ I spoke to her about staying with you plus Thuli is there to
help her but i will come when i am off from work.”
Me: “ Thank you for this”
K’s mon: “ You better treat her good or else i will kill you with my bare
hands.”
Me: “ I won’t. I promise” i shook her hand and walked to the car. Nokwazi
was breastfeeding Siphe. He looked so adorable. I waited till she was
finished before driving to my house.
Nokwazi: “ You sure it’s okay if we stay with you?” i nodded. She was
seated at the back with her son.
Me: “ More than okay. I am happy. I get to seduce you” she looked
shocked but i wasn’t joking. I really did want her in my life and i was
going to do whatever it takes to have her in my life after that i will make
her my wife.
It’s been 2 months since Siphe’s birth. Nqubeko has been nothing but a
wonderful dad to his son and me. Always showering us with gifts but he
also has been torturing me. He would go around in his pants only. Did i
tell you that he has nice hands and feet? Yes; he is sexy. Even when he
watches tv and when he is holding his son. I love him. I really do and i am
ready to give him a chance. Its the 24th December. Festive season and
well my favourite time of the year.
Woke up and went to check on Siphe. I found him with his father; damn it
Nqubeko. He was dressed in boxers only. He turned around when i
walked in. He smiled and walked over to me. He kissed my forehead and
greeted.
Nqubeko: “ Morning” his voice was so deep my whole body vibrated.
Me: “ Morning.” I cleared my throat.
Nqubeko: “ You slept okay?” i nodded.
Me: “ Yes. I slept well. Thank you for staying up with him last night. I was
exhausted” i slept very late because i was wrapping gifts for everyone.
Christmas Lunch was going to be held at Nqubeko’s place because
Nqoba has a bachelor house and we can’t go to his parents house
because his father lives with Carol and their daughter.
Nqubeko: “ He’s my son too. So i had to take care of him. He just slept
now and i gave him a very warm bath. He will wake up around 11am.
Have you eaten?”
Me: “ Nope i haven’t. I need to shower first” i walked out the door with
him following me.
Nqubeko: “ Can i join you?” i coughed because it was so unexpected.
Me: “ You erm want to join me?” i spoke very fast and he laughed. He
walked to me and kissed me senseless. He pulled me closer to him and i
was even grinding my body. I moaned and we heard someone clearing
their throat. We both jumped and looked at mom.
Mom: “ We know its your house but go have sex somewhere else please.
Plus it’s too early in the morning to be watching live porn”
Me: “ Mom! We were not having sex!” Nqubeko was holding in a laugh.
Mom: “ Could have fooled me. All that dry humpimg...” she walked past
us to the kitchen. The minute she disappeared Nqubeko laugher out loud.
I was very embarrassed.
Me: “ Why are you laughing? Mom is impossible!” she arrived 2 days ago
because of the Christmas lunch. I needed all the help i could get. Xoli
was away on holiday with Nqoba. They were coming back tonight.
Christmas is a big deal to the Msomi’s.
We went to Nqubeko’s bedroom and he led me to his bed. I looked at
him. It was already made.
Nqubeko: “ Get in” i looked at him as though he was crazy.
Me: “ Thought we were going to breakfast”
Nqubeko: “ Yes but i want to talk to you first. Please” i sighed and got in
bed. He joined me.
Me: “ What do you want to talk about?”
Nqubeko: “ I want to make love to you” my breath caught and i just
looked at him.
Nqubeko: “ I want to make love to you so bad. I want to taste you all over.
I want to drink in your sweet juices. I want you to scream my name” he
said that running his hands all over my body.
Me: “ Make love to me then” he kissed the corner of my mouth.
Nqubeko: “ I will make love to you as soon as you agree to be my
girlfriend” i giggled and he kept a straight face. I looked at him and saw
that he was serious.
Me: “ Fine. I will be your girlfriend. I am your girlfriend now. Make love to
me” he kissed me deeply fisting his hand in my hair. He got in between
my legs. I was dressed in a night dress and very thin lace thong only. His
guy was direct on my nana. The moment we touched i gasped. He kissed
me grinding his man. I was so turned on when he suddenly pulled back
and got off the bed.
Me: “ What, where are you going?” he chuckled and walked to his closet.
He came back dressed in shorts and a black vest.
Nqubeko: “ I am famished. Let’s go have breakfast” i wanted to cry. Its
been so long. I needed some servicing.
Me: “ Are you really thinking about food right now?”
Nqubeko: “ Yes my baby. Come my love” he held out his hand and i
slapped it.
Me: “ Go have your stupid breakfast alone.” I pulled the cover over my
head and ignored his laughing ass. He pulled back the covers roughly
and pulled me by my legs to the edge of the bed. The look on his face
had changed. You could see that he meant business. He licked his lips
and slowly started to undress....

Christmas day came and the house was buzzing. Nqoba and Xoli arrived
last night and they were drunk. Mom and i stayed up all night preparing
for the next day. When i got to bed last night Nqubeko came to fetch me
and we finished where we left things off earlier.
I woke up and he was next to me awake. He was looking at his phone
and emotions running all over his face. I sat up and placed my head on
his chest. He put his phone aside and held me. He sighed deeply.
Me: “ Talk to me” he kissed my forehead.
Nqubeko: “ It’s my first Christmas without mom” i placed a kiss on his
chest and the turned to straddle him.
Me: “ We should go visit her grace with Siphe” he nodded before closing
his eyes.
Nqubeko: “ I would like that very much. Thank you” i placed my head ln
his chest and we sat there in silence.
Me: “ You’ll never tell Nqoba about what happened?” he shook his head
no.
Nqubeko: “ No babe i can’t. It would destroy him. I am just glad i got you
to talk to” he smiled.
Me: “ Let’s get out of bed and shower. We have a long day ahead of us”
We got out of bed and took a shower. Innocent shower after the shower
we got out and got dressed in matching black and green outfits.
Nqubeko: “ We look ridiculous my love” i laughed.
Me: “ It was your idea Mangamehle” he blushed. He always blushes
when i call him that.
Nqubeko: “ Come here” i walked to him and he hugged me tight.
Nqubeko: “ Thank you for being here; with me. For giving me a second
chance” he placed a kiss on my nose and we pulled apart.
Me: “ Let’s get going” i pulled him towards the door but he pulled me
back.
Nqubeko: “ Merry Christmas” i giggled like a school girl. He does that to
me.
Me: “ Merry Christmas baby”
We walked out hand in hand. We started at Siphe’s bedroom and he
wasn’t there so we went to the kitchen and we found everyone there.
Xoli: “ The power couple” she giggled before attacking me with a hug. We
pulled apart and looked at each other. No one said a word; our souls did
the talking. I saw tears fall down her face. I smiled and wiped them.
Me: “ You are my family” she pulled me in for a tight hug.
Xoli: “ I love you and Merry Christmas” she kissed my cheek and went
back to sit next to Nqoba. He pulled her to him and kissed her forehead.
Me: “ Merry Christmas everyone”
Mom came from outside carrying a nicely dressed but sleeping Siphe. I
walked to them and took him.
Mom: “ I have everything set up outside. The cooking will take place
here. I just need to finish a few things here and there but either than that
we are good to go. Thuli and i will cook since Kwazi made dessert and
salads last night”
Nqubeko: “ What do you need from me?” he said rubbing together his
hands.
Mom: “ I need you and your brother to set the tables” they looked at
each other and smiled.
Nqoba: “ We would like that very much. Mom used to make us do that
every Sunday. Back when we were young, when we were happy” he
looked down.
Nqubeko: “ When she was alive” mom nodded and wiped her tears.
Mom: “ It’s time for Joy! Now come! We have work to do!”
I gave Siphe to Xoli and i took Sanele with me outside. He was too quiet
for my liking.
Me: “ Talk to me” he looked down rubbing his head before he sighed
deeply.
Sanele: “ There is this girl...”
Me: “ Mhmmm” he chuckled.
Sanele: “ It’s not like that sis. She is from my class and i like her. Well she
has no one and i would love it of she joined us and...”
Me: “ Whoa wait. What do you mean she has no one?”
Sanele: “ Bothe her parents died last year. She lives alone at her home. I
called her this morning and she said that she will be alone. So i was
wondering...” i interrupted him.
Me: “ Of course she can come” he hugged me. I laughed.
Sanele: “ Thank you sis. Let me go and call her” he jogged to the house. I
looked around and it was a beautiful day. Nothing was going to ruin this
day. We were surrounded with family and love. Its going to be a beautiful
Christmas.
I went back inside the house and we started sorting everything out. The
guys were outside setting the tables. Xoli had a sleeping Siphe in her
arms and she was going around taking pictures until mom took him to
bed.
I moved the presents outside. All the presents. Some were very heavy
but the whole set up was intimate; cosy and very nice. After a while
Sanele went out and came back with this green eyed white girl. We all
kept quiet and looked at them. Sanele looked at us before clearing his
throat.
Sanele: “ You guys are being creepy. Anyways this is Denise. Denise this
is my family” she was shy and her cheeks turned pink. Mom went over
and hugged her. She hugged her for a long time until we heard sniffing.
They finally pulled back and mom wiped her face.
Mom: “ Welcome child”
I went inside the house and played a mix tape that i made a few days
ago. Babes- Umngan wami came on and i heard screams from outside. I
ran outside and the brothers were dancing. They were dancing the same
thing as if they practices. I took my phone and took a video. Sanele
couldn’t stop laughing.
It was not time for lunch. Mom called everyone outside because we were
now scatted around the house. We were in the lounge watching some tv
and the guys were playing pool. We went outside and it was beautiful.
We sat down with mom sitting at the head of the table.
Mam Thuli was on the other hand. I sat next to Nqubeko who had Siphe
next to him and he was in a car seat/pram. Xoli next to Nqoba and
Sanele with Denise. We were a small group but i was just grateful that i
had a circled of people who love me. Mom stood up before we ate and
she said a few words.
Mom: “ Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you for being here, well thank
you for inviting me to your home Nqubeko. I know that all of us here wish
that things were different. Some of us wish to be with our parents; some
of us wish to be with our partners and children but we are here. Together.
God made things this way. The least we could do is embrace it and
celebrate the birth of Christ. So stop mopping around and be Merry” we
laughed at the last part before raising our glassed. Next was Mam Thuli.
Thuli: “ I don’t even know where to start. Well i have no one. Well that is
not true. I have you; all of you but the family that i thought was mine
deserted me. I raised those kids and when that man came they didn’t
hesitate to leave. What’s worse was that he was away all these years
playing happy family. I worked my butt off putting them through school
but they chose him because he had a better life. I don’t know what i
would have done had Mr Nqubeko left me out in the cold. I was a
stranger but he took me in. I will never forget it. I am forever grateful.
Merry Christmas everyone” by the time she was done the ladies were
crying; me included.
Xoli: “ Well Nokwazi knows my life story but i thought i could share with
you. When my parents died they left me with this huge hole in my heart. I
thought that their families would take care of me but all they did was take
the money, sell their valuables and left me out in the cold. Nokwazi was
there through everything with mam Londi. They took me in and here i am.
I owe them my life. As if that wasn’t enough i got to meet this wonderful
man of mine. Who loves me so much that my whole body aches. He
loves and respects me. I am grateful that i got a second chance to life
and love. Thank you everyone. Merry Christmas and I love you” she sat
down and placed a long baby kiss on Nqoba’s lips.
Me: “ Well damn those are tough acts to follow i mean you guys have
said it all BUT i just have to add how grateful i am to my mom and
brother. We come so far you guys but we are still here. I am grateful to
my best friend that she came into my life and showed me the meaning of
what a good friend and sister is. I am grateful to Nqoba my husband.
Thank you for supporting me. Nqubeko; my love. I love you and you
make me so happy. Thank you for our son. Merry Christmas baby” he
stood up and hugged me. Trust Nqubeko for wanting to outshine
everyone.
Nqoba: “ Well i am not a man of many word but my thanks will show in
the gifts i bought for each of you. Merry Christmas” he sat down causing
Nqubeko to chuckle.
Nqubeko: “ I have been sitting and listening to everyone and all i feel is
love all over. I am grateful to each and everyone of you. It’s funny how in
life you lose the one thing/person that keeps you sane not knowing that
God already has someone to fill that void. I found family and love in all of
you but most of all i found lifetime commitments because as i was
listening to you i told myself that there is nothing i wouldn’t do for each
and everyone of you. Miss Kheswa thank you. Thank you for opening up
your goldmine and giving me this rare jewel Nokwazi. Thank you for our
son maKheswa. I know i say this everyday but thank you for giving me a
second chance to prove to you just how much you and our son mean to
me. I love each and everyone of you. Nqoba; when mom left i know that
things just went upside down and we lost dad bro but look around you
man. We are surrounded by love. We have love all over us. Thank you
and Merry Christmas.” Mom stood up and went to hug him.
The speeches continued and afterwards we had lunch over jokes and
laughter. We were still getting to the gifts part. If it was up the me the day
was going to end because it was perfect.
